The Silence WithinOur March Monthly Newsletter Let Spring begin - when you're ready...Can you sense that slight Spring inertia...? With the sweet prima rosa beckoning the humble gardener outside and longer days of light, there's a gentle nudging, a subtle rustling, a movement towards. The air feels warmer, the energy lighter and the space clearer, bringing about a sense of purpose and direction. But if that's not where you find yourself, if your experience is still one of hibernation, that is very ok. Like the primrose - we don't all emerge at the same time. It is vital that we honour our own pace of emergence from the Winter slumber.
Sound baths are a wonderful way to honour new beginnings and transformation at this time. Some bathers still naturally drop into deep wintery rest with the resonance of the gong, while others feel the buoyancy of new growth with the lighter tincture of the bells and bowls. Either way, coming home to ourselves is what we hope to encourage at The Silence Within.
This time, this hour of therapeutic sound, is an act of devotion to the inner self - to the Mother within. And with Mothering Sunday at the end of the month, let us honour our inner Mother and our capacity to offer ourselves nurturing, softness and reverence, now, and always.

Temple of Peace - Cathay's, Cardiff
The Silence Within is blossoming and it is with great joy that we share our next new venue; "the venue with a heart" - Temple of Peace in Cathay's, Cardiff. We very consciously select our venues and this one really touched our hearts. The building itself was designed and built to promote peace and wellbeing, and now hosts events that inspire Percy Thomas' initial intention.
Come and join us for our first Saturday sound bath on April 12th. Booking is now live, with early bird and concession tickets available.
Give The Gift Of Rest
We are offering a Mother's Day Gift Card as an option to treat our maternal mavericks, to say "thank you, for all you do." If you have experienced the relaxation of a sound bath you will know how wonderful it is to enjoy self care. Mothers and female caretakers have a tendency to put everyone else first, yet they are often the ones who need rest most.
Bring a special woman along with you, or treat her to a ticket in her own time. Show them you love them with the gift of deep rest.
